Academy for Greek and Mediterranean Dance and Rhythm

The idea which led to founding the „Greek Mediterranean Dance & Rhythm“-GMDR-Academy lies in the deep connection and love to the Greek and Mediterranean music culture and the traditional dances of this region and of the Balkan. The roots of this culture reach back to antiquity and have maintained their significance and legitimacy until today.

Founder of the GMDR is Mr. Alkis Zopoglou, a graduated dance instructor for traditional dances and renowned musician.

The GMDR-Academy (being seated in Switzerland) offers everyone the opportunity to be educated in Mediterranean dances and rhythms at an authentic institution.
